AdvantiGen is expanding the landscape of Immuno-Oncology (IO) by unveiling sialic-acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectin 5 (Siglec-5) as a novel target on activated T-cells for cancer immunotherapy. 

To fulfill the promise of this new Siglec-based IO axis, we capitalize on our expertise in monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and NIRID™ (Near InfraRed Identification and Detection), to develop state-of-the-art therapeutics and complementary biomarkers. These advancements are instrumental in ensuring robust pre-clinical and clinical patient selection and stratification. 

Siglec-5 engages with various cancer cell types, indicating its clinical significance in both solid tumors—such as those found in the skin, kidney, breast, colorectal, lung, and liver—and blood cancers, including T cell lymphoma, acute monocytic leukemia, and B cell lymphoma.
